The 1Site 1Day Process

Call Brady at 864-335-8672 to schedule your 1Site1Day project. Your project includes up to 3 email addresses (yourname@yourdomain.com), your homepage, and up to 3 subpages.

Scheduling

During your 1Site process, Brady will be on-location with you in your office, home office, or worksite. During the work day you should be available for meetings between 8-9am, 10:30-11am, and 4-5pm. This will allow optimal contact opportunities for feedback to make sure our project is on track.

The Morning Meeting

Between 8-9 on your scheduled day, we will meet to discuss your site. We will review your intake forms and any pictures, logos, and content that you have. If we need to take additional pictures for the site we will do so at this time.

The Mockup (A Preview of What's To Come)

Between 9-10:30, I will prepare a mockup (an image) of your site's homepage. During this phase we can determine if the color palette, pictures, and layout are to your liking. We will meet between 10:30-11am to discuss and make any needed changes.

Coding (CSS and XHTML Compliant)

From 11am-4pm, I will work on your custom site. No templates will be used. Your site will be uniquely yours. By 4, the coding for your site should be complete. We will review the completed page and subpages, and again, make any needed changes.

Uploading and Adding to Search Engines

We will upload your website to the Internet. Time permitting, we will also prepare a sitemap so that your site will be more easily searchable by Google, Yahoo, and other search engines. We will also go over your email address access, and some ideas that may be helpful in marketing your site.

What if I'm not in the Upstate or don't have an office?

Arrangements can be made so that your site is coded on our premises rather than yours. We would still arrange for meeting times throughout the day so that we can discuss needs, the mockup, and the final site. Please contact us if you are interested.

 

 

What is included?

1Site1Day helps you get your web page live on the Internet on one day. In order to acheive this our sites are static. You will not find a lot of Flash animation, database connections, or forms. Here is what we include in the 1 Day package:

• A custom homepage, created entirely without the use of templates
• Up to 3 subpages, using the same general layout as your homepage. Looking at 1site1day.com, you will see that the look of the site is consistent throughout. This is important in your web design. Your subpages may include

  • Directions to our location
  • Our Staff
  • Our Products
  • Testimonials
  • Photo Gallery (with up to 20 photos)
  • Links Page
  • Contact us with questions about additional options
• An XML Sitemap that will help your users find you when searching by Google, Yahoo, or other major search engines
• An XHTML and CSS Compliant site, meaning your site is coded to high standards that will function on all the major browsers

What Upgrades are Available?

If you are interested in your site having other features, here are some of the things we can include at an additional charge. Please note that these items may not be coded in your 1 day session, but may require some additional time:

• Wordpress Blog
• Embedded video or audio
• Gift Certificate or other item purchase options (integrated with PayPal)
• Contact forms or other submissions
